AUBURNDALE – Macario “Mark” Alvarado, 73, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. Macario was born on January 2, 1949 to Macario Alvarado Salazar and Ramona Munoz Gutierrez in Durango, Mexico.
He moved the United States in his early twenties and traveled the country.
He married Rhonda Joan Keen Alvarado on September 5, 1998 and remained married until her death on August 24, 2017.
After retiring in 2017, Macario spent his time traveling and spending time with family. He was also fortunate enough to find companionship in his girlfriend Gloria Torres Hernandez and her family as well. Macario was preceded in death by his wife Joan Keen Alvarado, his parents Macario Alvarado Salazar and Ramona Munoz Gutierrez, brother Isac Alvarado, and one sister Maria Raquel Alvarado. He is survived by his children Kristina (Michael) Alvarado, Maria Sills, Jaime Alvarado, Stephen Lehman, Angie Alvarado, Deanna (Julio) Ortiz, Haley Conley, and his baby boy Dylan Conley. His grandchildren Austin Sills, Mikayla Skinner, Danny Skinner, Gavin Sills, Nevaeh Bowling, Alexander Ortiz, Jonah Ortiz. He is also survived by his brother Epifanio Alvarado, sisters Teresa Alvarado, Josefina Alvarado, Esperanza Alvarado, and Ma. Elena Alvarado.
His funeral services will take place in Mexico where his body will be buried with his parents. His family will also plan a private celebration of life at a later time to honor him in the United States.
